Mr Yim is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with a specialist interest in major trauma, limb reconstruction, and burns.

He completed his higher surgical training in the South West Deanery before undertaking a fellowship in limb reconstruction, followed by a second fellowship in burns at the Welsh Centre for Burns and Plastic Surgery.

He was appointed as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon in 2024.

Mr Yim leads the junior doctors’ rota for the major trauma service.
