Sophie is a Consultant Burns and Plastics Reconstructive surgeon specialising in Burns, Major trauma reconstruction and Melanoma. Having trained in Oxford and London, she subsequently undertook her specialist plastic surgical training in Oxford and Wales.

She is based at Morriston Hospital in Swansea and is currently Clinical Lead for Plastic surgery. Previously she was Lead for Major Trauma in Plastic surgery for the new Major Trauma Centre in Cardiff.
